Dr. Halle Bensen
Halle Bensen is a new addition to the Bensen Family Chiropractic team and has a lot of energy to bring to this practice! Dr. Halle graduated Cum Laude from Palmer Florida campus in September 2017. Dr. Halle was born and raised in Gainesville and is excited to have the opportunity to serve this community.
Growing up in a chiropractic family and seeing how her father could help heal so many people, Halle knew that she wanted to enter the medical field and be able to heal people as has her father. While growing up Halle participated in karate from ages 7-16 earning her adult black belt at the age of 16. The human body’s anatomy and physiology always fascinated her and how to live optimally was a question she strived to answer.
Dr. Halle attended the University of Florida and graduated May 2014 with a Bachelors of Science degree. While earning her degree she received her certification in personal training (CPT) and has completed over 100 hours of continuing education credits focusing on therapeutic exercises and biomechanical dysfunction. Dr. Halle’s time was well spent during her college years shadowing her father, learning from his clinical experience and choosing to learn the Grostic technique. During her time at Palmer she attended numerous seminars on health topics including treating gastrointestinal dysfunctions, analyzing blood lab chemistry and how to heal the body with proper diet and whole food nutritional supplementation.
In addition to a patient’s biomechanical issues and dysfunctional movement patterns, Dr. Halle has received extensive training in the Grostic technique as well as full spine adjustments, Thompson, Diversified, Sacro-Occipital technique, Nutritional Consultations, Posture Analysis and Functional Movement Screenings.
Dr. Halle is a second-generation chiropractor and hopes to help her patients realize that optimal health and well-being is just a step away at Bensen Family Chiropractic!
