MEET YOUR CARE TEAM
Dr. Peter Bensen, DC, MS
Founder, Chiropractor
Dr. Peter has spent more than four decades serving the Gainesville community, offering both chiropractic care and mental health counseling. A U.S. Navy veteran and lifelong learner, he earned his Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from George Washington University, his Master’s in Rehabilitation Counseling from the University of Florida, and his Doctorate of Chiropractic from Life University.

While teaching at Life University, he trained under the renowned Dr. John D. Grostic, refining the complex and precise Grostic technique. Over the years, Dr. Peter has helped thousands of individuals regain function and find relief using a broad range of techniques, including Specific Upper Cervical, Applied Kinesiology, Sacro-Occipital Technique, Diversified, Thompson, and nutritional support.

His depth of experience and gentle, grounded presence remain foundational to the practice Dr. Halle continues today.

Dr. Halle Bensen, DC
Chiropractor
Dr. Halle is a second-generation chiropractor who grew up watching her father care for patients with compassion, integrity, and deep respect for the human body. At just 16, she knew she would follow the same path. She graduated with honors from Palmer College of Chiropractic in 2017 and has since developed a holistic, nervous system–centered approach that blends clinical expertise with intuitive, heart-led care.

She has advanced training in prenatal chiropractic, including Webster Certification through the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association (ICPA), and has a special interest in women’s health, postpartum support, and childhood development. Dr. Halle believes in creating a space where people feel seen, heard, empowered, and confident in their own healing.

Outside the office, you’ll find her backpacking, reading, or spending time in nature — drawn to the same presence and connection she brings into her practice.

Francesca
Office Manager & Practice Member Care Support
Warm, attentive, and naturally nurturing, Francesca is often the first friendly face you’ll meet at Bensen Chiropractic. Her background in caregiving, including work with individuals living with Alzheimer’s, has shaped her deep respect for holistic, heart-centered healing. She brings patience, kindness, and genuine joy into the office each day.

A lifelong creative, Francesca has a love for music, sound healing, and imaginative storytelling. Outside the office, she enjoys being in nature, making art, and developing her upcoming YouTube children’s show that blends play, connection, and the magic of the outdoors.
​
Her presence helps create the calm, welcoming environment our patients know and love.
